Patriot Can Cleaners is proud to service all of Westchester County and Putnam County in New York, as well as Fairfield County in Connecticut. GARBAGE CAN CLEANING Do I have to be home for my cans to be cleaned? No. You do not have to be home to have your garbage cans cleaned and sanitized. During the booking process, let us know if you would like them left at the curb, or we can retrieve and return them near your home if you prefer. Do you use hot water? Yes. We use hot water pressure washing technology. Our water is heated to over 200 degrees and we use up to 4500 PSI when appropriate. What if I have garbage in my cans? We understand there may be times where there is leftover garbage in the cans, or the garbage has not been picked up. Although we ask customers to do their best to book service after trash pickup, it is not a problem. We can remove bagged garbage from the cans, service them, and return the bagged garbage. Smaller items stuck on the bottom of the can, or larger items that are not bagged, will be removed and disposed of by us. Do you capture wastewater or does it go into the storm drains? Patriot Can Cleaners captures wastewater and cycles it through our filtration system for reuse, cutting down on the amount of water needed and helping protect the environment. How often should I have my garbage cans cleaned? For the average household, we strongly recommend monthly service. It prevents excess buildup of germs and odors that attract pests and cause your cans to smell. How soon after trash pickup should I schedule? For municipalities that have trash picked up before noon, you can book your service the same day as your trash pickup. If your trash is picked up after noon, please book the following day. What size cans do you clean? We clean cans of all sizes, from kitchen cans (13 gallon) up to 96 gallon residential cans. We also clean dumpsters of all sizes for commercial clients. Do you clean recycling bins too? Yes. Some municipalities use small square or rectangular recycling containers, while others use full size 32 to 96 gallon cans. We service all sizes. Do you use disinfectant or deodorizer, and is it safe around kids and pets? Yes. We use both a disinfectant and a deodorizer that are safe for kids, pets, and the environment. What happens during winter or freezing temperatures? Our cleaning system is water based. Freezing temperatures can damage the trailer and equipment if we operate. In addition, the mist and residual water from the cleaning process can freeze on contact and create an ice hazard on driveways, walkways, steps, and curb areas. Because of that: If temperatures are at or near freezing, we will postpone service and move your appointment to the next safe weather window at no charge. If there is existing snow or ice, we may also reschedule if we cannot work without creating slippery conditions. You can help by placing cans in a clear, accessible spot and keeping the area around the cans free of snow and ice. We would rather delay a service than risk equipment damage or someone getting hurt. Do you offer discounts for multiple cans, neighbors, or HOAs? Yes. We offer $10 off your next service for every referral who books a service. When you sign up, you will have access to the client hub and your own referral code. We also offer package pricing for HOAs and gated communities. Do you service commercial dumpsters and dumpster pads? Yes. We service cans and bins of all shapes and sizes. We use a reclaiming hose for larger dumpsters to ensure wastewater is captured. Do you move cans from the side of the house or behind a gate? What do you need from the customer? Yes. We are happy to retrieve and return your cans from the side of the house, behind a gate, or wherever you normally store them, as long as we have safe access. What we need from you: Any gate code, lock info, or access instructions at the time of booking A clear path to the cans (no blocked gates, cars, or hazards) If you have a dog, please secure pets during the service window If we cannot access the cans when we arrive, we may need to reschedule or service them at the curb if that is an option you approve. PRESSURE WASHING What surfaces do you pressure wash? Patriot Can Cleaners pressure washes all types of surfaces, including driveways, walkways, siding, and heavy equipment. We use different tips and tools for different surfaces to help protect your property from damage. Do you offer soft washing for siding and roofs? Yes. We offer soft washing for siding and roofs. Do you use hot water for pressure washing too? We have the ability to use hot or cold water on all jobs. If the situation warrants hot water, such as mold or algae, we can use hot water to kill the growth at the source. However, it is not standard practice to use hot water for all pressure washing jobs. PRICING How much is it to clean my cans? Patriot Can Cleaners offers monthly recurring service plans. The more frequent plans are cheaper because there is less buildup and each can takes less time to get back to looking and smelling like new. Monthly $45, Quarterly $55, Seasonally $65, and a one time cleaning of $75. The cost of each plan covers cleaning 3 cans or recycling bins. How much is it to pressure wash my home or business? Each property is different and several factors are taken into consideration, such as square footage, number of stories, type of material being cleaned, and whether there is access to water on site. We will come to your home or business and give you a free estimate. There are some pricing minimums that can be found on the booking page. INSURANCE Are you insured? Yes. We are fully insured and licensed.
